Watch as Dr. Richard Abrams explains ECT information to patient Fizzy
Dr. Richard Abrams gives patient Fizzy some ECT patient information, as he explains the ins and outs of shock therapy. He helps her understand that today’s ECT is very scientific and is new and improved, kinder and gentler, and kumbaya my lord, kumbaya.
Patients need to be given the proper information about ECT, and ignore the lies they see on the internets. Those lies are perpetuated by people who make money by convincing patients not to have shock therapy. I don’t know how they make money, because I believe in shock therapy and have no need of money. I am a model.
Some of the patient information about ECT includes knowing that it’s safe, it doesn’t burn your head, and there is no memory loss except when there is. What? I don’t know. I had shock therapy.
I love shock therapy and I have it often. Hopefully patient Fizzy will fizz out her brain and feel better, plus get a better hairdo. The bun look is not up to par in the shock ward. I have some wigs you can borrow, Fizzy, as long as you don’t have head lice or anything like that.
Please everyone, stop telling lies about ECT and give patients true information: it’s good, and that’s all you need to know.
